Specialist IT
Support
Stronger technical support, clearer supplier coordination and greater cyber security assurance for transport and station systems.

Specialist IT support built around the realities of live transport and station operations
Transport and station operations depend on interconnected IT, communications infrastructure, OT systems and specialist applications. When something fails, the impact rarely stays within one system or one supplier’s contract. Effective support therefore requires an understanding of operational priorities, system dependencies, cyber security, change risk and the relationship between IT and OT environments - not just the ability to resolve individual faults.
Sibrossa provides coordinated IT support for operationally important transport environments, combining practical technical support with service management, supplier coordination, cyber security oversight and senior escalation, so that essential services stay supported and incidents reach clear outcomes.
Understanding the challenges in transport and station operations
Complex interconnected systems
A single incident may involve network infrastructure, a station-management platform, a passenger-facing system and more than one specialist maintainer. We provide operational support and incident management, and oversight of the infrastructure and business systems the operational environment depends on, from servers and networks to Microsoft 365 and remote access.
Specialist operational technology
Proactive monitoring, patching and recovery assurance sit alongside coordinated support across station management, access control, CCTV, passenger information, radio, telephony and other specialist operational systems, so issues are investigated in context and taken through to resolution.
Controlled change, clear records
Changes must be planned with availability, safety, security and operational continuity in mind. We maintain change planning, dependency checks, asset and configuration records, and a clear trail of agreed actions and outcomes.
Transport technology is commonly supported through a network of maintainers, vendors and specialist engineers, and delays can arise when each party sees only its own component of the service. Sibrossa provides a coordinated point of engagement, bringing the relevant parties together and keeping communication and progress clear, while specialist suppliers retain responsibility for their own technical deliverables.
Cyber security is treated as part of day-to-day support rather than a separate exercise, covering authentication controls, secure supplier access, patching, monitoring, backup and recovery, and the security impact of planned changes. Our wider cyber security advisory capability, covering Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework, supports a practical approach to risk and continual improvement.
Proven experience in an operational transport environment
Through our work supporting the Luton DART automated passenger transit system, Sibrossa has direct experience of the technology, operational dependencies and multi-supplier arrangements that underpin a live station operation:
- Improving operational visibility by configuring proactive network monitoring and implementing the processes needed to review and respond to alerts
- Supporting operational excellence by working with the station-management supplier to improve the reliability of station information, reduce false alarms and resolve configuration issues that could affect operational decision-making
- Strengthening physical security by reviewing electronic access permissions and implementing an agreed role-based permissions matrix, helping ensure that access rights are consistent, appropriate and aligned to operational requirements
- Stabilising specialist operational systems by coordinating maintainers and planned technical improvements for SCADA and building management systems

Why Sibrossa?
The right model depends on the environment. Sibrossa can supplement an internal team or existing managed service provider, provide specialist escalation, or take a broader coordination and oversight role, with scope and governance agreed around your operating hours, risk profile and supplier landscape.
If you are responsible for transport or station systems and need stronger technical support, clearer supplier coordination or greater assurance over cyber security and resilience, we would be pleased to arrange an initial conversation.
