Background
Simon has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years, with experience in cyber security, C-level management, enterprise infrastructure systems, cloud platforms and project management. The first eight years of his career were at one of the world’s leading electronics conglomerates, he was a Chief Information Officer at a top 25 firm of accountants and has been providing IT consultancy services since 2002.
With a breadth of knowledge of IT systems and security across a range of sectors, his focus is on providing clients with expert, professional, independent, and pragmatic advice.
Experience
During his time as a CIO, Simon’s emphasis was on the use of IT as a key component of strategic business growth, focusing on security, improving business process efficiency, and enhancing client/customer experiences. He also led transformation projects to the cloud and the implementation of solutions to support hybrid working.
Prior to forming Sibrossa Ltd, Simon headed up an IT consultancy practice for 16 years. He provided services to a varied client base across the corporate sector, including financial services and pension schemes and not for profit clients, such as general charities, schools, faith organisations, professional institutes, and membership bodies.

Simon has conducted reviews across a wide range of IT areas, including enterprise systems/applications, licensing, infrastructure, cloud platforms/migration strategies, third-party suppliers, budgeting, staffing and service desk/support functions. He also provides thought leadership and technology guidance, helping senior management to create and implement effective IT strategies.
As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2005, a key area of Simon’s expertise is security. He regularly delivers cyber security reviews and provides advice to clients on data protection matters, Cyber Essentials, penetration testing, incident response and post cyber attack investigations.
